French poet Bernard Delvaille (1931–2006) wrote these lines* that I found in 'Tout objet aimé est le centre d’un paradis' [Every beloved object is at the heart of a paradise] (Chez l’Auteur, 1957).The thread that binds me to New Still Lifes comes from my appetite for discovery.
