In my dream,I arrive in a ghost town. It's the middle of the night. I walk up to a showcase where a neon lights a blue bird.

My grandfather said it needed only a second so that every second of my life turns into a dead leaf. I was terrified.

For the Germans, there is Oktoberfest. For the Indians, the feast of Colors. And for me, every day, the feast of Still Life!

A little modeling clay, scissors, glossy paper, an old box...And the day becomes more cheerful!

It is Tom Dillibo, a former student of Harry Callahan, who has convinced me to work with dead leaves. "They love you", he said. "Don't disappoint them".
